The waterproof outer fabric blocks slush and damp, and the thermal lining present on both pieces holds body heat through long days out. Machine wash cold, inside out and without fabric softener, to protect the water repellent finish on the surface. Air dry, flat or on a wide hanger; no tumble drying, no bleach, no ironing directly on the outer fabric or the zips. Store the two pieces flat once completely dry, out of direct light.
