The outer is a waterproof technical fabric, the inner lining is thermal. Machine wash cold, inside out, delicate cycle, no fabric softener and no bleach, as both damage the water repellent finish. Air dry, hung by the waistband so water runs downwards. No tumble drying and no ironing on coated surfaces or zips, which distort under heat. Stored flat once completely dry, the trousers keep their water repellency season after season.
